Next Turn in the Road

OK, so I've been doing really bad with my weight loss. I gave up for the past few days. But I have been walking still, just eating bad. I think it's because I'm so focused on not waking up the new puppy, so I just run and grab a quick snack.

I keep telling myself that I have to lose this weight, or its gonna end up killing me. Jef told me today that he isn't going to let me eat anything else unless I have counted it.
These past few days have been kinda rough as well. Each morning that I wake up, I don't even want to get out of bed, and Ive just felt like crying for no reason. I think that the winter months aren't helping with it being cold outside and dark like 70% of the time. I know that as soon as its warm out me and the puppy are going to play outside all day!
I'm going to make it a conscious effort to write at least once a week to help myself stay on track!

  1. Take extra Vitamin D it's what you'd get from the sun if you were outside. I think it would help.

  2. I agree. Vitamin D will help. I live where the sun is rarely out and I take 2000 IU of vitamin D every day and it's been a tremendous help. You're on my Lose It friends list and I noticed you'd stopped logging. I'm sorry you're having a tough time but really, the only way to get around to losing weight is by sheer force of will. You just can't rely on motivation alone. I take one of my dogs to the park very often for walks and we both enjoy it immensely. Your new puppy is cute and looks like the kind of dog that will really enjoy being outdoors for walks. ;)

  3. Ahh, your puppy is soooo adorable! Luckily he'll get ya on walk as it is the season for the winter blues. Excuses are always easy to come by. Start small to get towards your end goal -- like Jeff mentioned, write down what you eat for this week & next week figure out a new goal to add to it - drinking more water? Exercising more? Whatever fits for you :)
